What do the score field options do?

When selecting or updating a score field you'll be able to configure a few options. Corresponding to the image below:

  1. Set bounds -- setting the lowest and highest numbers in the score range allows us to display the score vales more meaningfully in the score widget as well as accurately calculate top and bottom box aggregations.

  2. Select default aggregation -- this is the default aggregation method that will be used to show the score field value on the score widget and other widgets on the dashboard. Other numerical fields default to average. Top box is generally considered to be a good way to analyse Likert scale data like CSAT and other ratings.

  3. Change top/bottom box limit -- when top or bottom box aggregation is selected we default to top/bottom 2 box, but you can easily change this to suit your data and reporting requirements.
