In this week's update, we're happy to announce the rebadging of Saved Queries to Themes.
Why have we changed the name?
We frequently refer to Saved Queries as ‘Themes’ because:
it is more user-friendly
better represents what the saved queries actually are
it is easier to comprehend
is more aligned to industry language.
Our team calls them themes, you call them themes, so now Kapiche calls them themes!
Where is the term updated?
The most notable change is the title of the Saved Queries & Concepts dashboard widget, which is now the Themes & Concepts widget.
You will also notice that in other dashboard widgets, the DATA dropdowns will now display Themes.
Do queries still exist?
Yes! You'll notice the Query page still exists, and you still need to create 'queries'. We see it like this—you use the query builder to create themes.
Will this impact any of my existing queries or custom dashboards?
Nope, this is purely a cosmetic change, no core changes to what's under the hood of a 'saved query'
Do I need to update anything?
Nope, just keep tracking those themes, discovering game-changing insights and sharing them around!
In case you missed it, here's an excellent guide on how to create themes by building meaningful queries.
That's it for today's update.
