Along the top right hand corner of your dashboard you’ll find your Segments Filter tool which allows you to view your insights based on the different segments included in your data set.

In this guide we cover:

  1. How to Apply a Segment Filter

  2. How to use Segment Filters to find Theme Drivers

Applying a Segment Filter

To apply a Segment Filter, click on the NO FILTERS APPLIED button towards the top right corner of your Dashboard and from there, you can select which Segment you would like to filter by (in our example we're filtering by a specific age group).

Once you click the green Apply button your Dashboard will then update so that your insights are specific to the segment you have chosen.

Using Segment Filters to find Theme Drivers

Once a Segment Filter has been applied, your Themes & Concepts tool will update to show you which of your Themes or Concepts that Segment is most closely related to.

In the example above what we've done is apply an Age Filter of 18-24 year olds on the Dashboard which then refreshed the Themes & Concepts widget to show us which Themes/Concepts our 18-24 year olds care most about! 😱

Here's what this workflow looks like in action:
