There are three user access types in Kapiche:
Admin User
An Admin User has unrestricted access to all Kapiche Projects, can add/remove other Creator and Explorer users, change user-access levels and can access all areas of Kapiche.
Note: Admin users require a paid Creator License (your annual subscription usually includes a set amount of licences that can be allocated).
Creator User
Creator Users have access to all areas of Kapiche but can only access Projects that they have created themselves or Projects that they have been explicitly invited to. This includes building analyses, configuring themes, querying the data, and sharing Workbenches.
Note: Creators require a paid Creator License (your annual subscription usually includes a set amount of licences that can be allocated).
Explorer User
Explorer Users have read-only access to the specific Workbenches that they have been invited to. They can interactively explore those insights — switching between metrics, drilling into themes to understand the “why”, and applying filters — but cannot build or configure analyses themselves (such as creating themes or running queries).
Explorers can also use Ask Kapiche to explore the underlying feedback data conversationally, using the analysis they have been given access to as context.
Note: Ask Kapiche access for Explorers on shared analyses is still rolling out — if an Explorer cannot see Ask Kapiche on a Workbench that has been shared with them, please get in touch with support.
Note: Explorer users require a paid Explorer License (your annual subscription usually includes a set amount of licences that can be allocated).
