NPS & Sentiment

One of the first things you’ll see when loading your Dashboard is the overall Net Promoter Score (if one exists within your data) as well as the overall Sentiment of your data.

Saved Queries

Your Saved Queries tool provides you with a summary of the key themes your team has identified for you in this data set which by default is sorted by how frequently they are being discussed.

Themes can be sorted based on the impact they’re having on key business metrics such as your Net Promoter Score, CSAT, Sentiment and even Revenue by using the 'Display' drop down menu.

For example, in the image below we can immediately see that if the feedback relating to Value for Money didn’t exist, our NPS would increase by 11.09 points.

Note: The blue numbers in the column to the far right indicate the overall NPS for that particular theme.

Hover over each theme to display some high level statistics (such as frequency, NPS, and sentiment) and from there if there is a theme you'd like to explore further, click into it to to view a dedicated insights page.

Let's take a closer look at the 'In Flight Experience' theme.

Your dedicated insights page for each theme will include:

The overall NPS and Sentiment for that theme and how they’re trending over time:

The verbatims that belong to this theme, which can be sorted and filtered using the relevant drop down menus (below, left) as well as a summary of the unique terms your team used to group these related verbatims together (below, right):

A timeline chart that allows you to see how the different fields in your data set are trending over time in relation to your theme, for example we can see that there was an increase in conversations relating to the In Flight Experience for those flying economy class during January 2017:

Tip: To update the different data sources and views you can use the relevant drop down menus along the top!

Scrolling down you’ll find context network which visualizes all the terms that have a meaningful relationship with this theme as well as the strength of the relationship between them.

For example, by looking at the size of each circle and by how closely they are appearing together, we can see that the ‘Cabin Crew’ of this flight are frequently being mentioned when passengers are sharing feedback about their In Flight Experience (which is the theme we clicked into to explore).

And finally, one of the most powerful tools you’ll have access to with your Kapiche Dashboard is the Segmentation Chart which enables you to quickly and easily identify how each theme relates to your different customer segments.

For example, in this data set we can see that those flying in Economy class are less likely to talk about their In Flight Experience than those who flew in Business Class (you can learn more about how our Observed vs Expected stats here!).

Tip: To update the different data sources and views you can use the relevant drop down menus along the top!

To navigate back to your main dashboard you can click on the 'Back to overview' button towards the top-left hand corner of the page.

Quadrant Chart

Your Quadrant Chart visualizes your key themes and their relationship to your NPS (or any other key business metric) and can be expanded by clicking on the square icon in the top-right corner (which also gives you access to a few more tools!)

The blue line running vertically down the chart represents your organization's overall NPS (if applicable) which allows you to see how each of your different themes are performing in relation to that (e.g. any themes that appear to the left of the blue line have a lower Net Promoter Score than your overall one).

Note: Your X axis represents NPS while your Y axis represents the relative frequency of that theme being discussed which can help you quickly identify which areas of the business are performing well vs what may need your attention.

Using the example below, we may want to investigate Pricing/Value for Money as it has a lower NPS than our company average and is being mentioned quite frequently.

Other helpful features of your Quadrant Chart:

You can change the data points of both your X and Y axis using the respective drop down menus found either to the right of the quadrant chart (if using the expanded view) or above the chart (if using the truncated view via the dashboard)

For example, by changing the Data field to 'Cabin Flown' we can immediately see that those who fly Economy class are more likely to be Promoters and those who fly Premium Economy are more likely to be Detractors.

If using the expanded view you can also show and hide the different fields using the relevant tick boxes (which is particularly helpful if you experience label-overlapping!)

Tip: To exit the expanded view, click on the 'back' button towards the top left corner!

Timeline Graph

Your timeline chart is a great way to track your trends and key business metrics over time. By default we'll show you the frequency in which your customers have been talking about your themes over time, but you can use the drop down menus along the top to select different data points, metrics and time periods as well!

Tip: You can also show and hide the different options that appear on the chart by either clicking on them individually or by using the hide all / show all buttons.

Segmentation Chart

Your segmentation chart will provide you with a breakdown of the different structured data points in your data set and can be expanded by clicking on the square icon in the top-right corner (which also gives you access to additional sorting tools!)

By default the first field we'll display for you will be based on alphabetical order and ordered by frequency but you can easily switch between the different fields in your data set as well as how they're ordered using the relevant drop down menus.

Tip: To exit the expanded view, click on the 'back' button towards the top left corner!

Date Filters

Along the top left hand corner of your dashboard you’ll find your Date Filter which allows you to set a custom date range (by default we’ll display all time) as well as an option to select different date types if applicable.

Segment Filters

Along the top right hand corner of your dashboard you’ll find your Segments Filter which allows you to view your insights based on the different segments included in your data set.

For example, if we apply a segment filter for Cabin Flown: Business, our dashboard will then update the statistics so that they are relative only to that particular segment.

Tip: To clear the Segment filters you’ve applied, simply click on the Segment Filter dropdown again and choose the ‘Clear Segment Filters’ button along the top.

Exports

When you see an icon with an arrow pointing down throughout your dashboard, this indicates that you can export the insights.

We’re still expanding our export support, so if there’s a particular type of export that’s missing (e.g. if you’d like to be able to export an image of your NPS widget not just the CSV) be sure to let us know!

Sharing Dashboards (Analyst only feature)

If you have access to an Analyst license, you'll have the ability to share your Dashboards with the relevant team members across your organization.

To do this, click on the 'Share' button towards the top-right corner of your Dashboard:

From there, start typing the email address using the address bar along the top of the window - if your team member already has access to your Kapiche site their name should pop up in the list.

If not, no worries, finish typing their email and then hit enter (we'll send them an email invitation to get started!)

And there you have it - you've officially made it to the end of our dashboard walk-through guide (yay!!) 🎉
