Remove Verbatims from a Theme
Note: There is no way to "undo" the deletion of a verbatim and its AI Topics. Please use this delete function with caution!
When using an Auto Theme framework you may come across verbatim that you would like to remove from a particular theme. Kapiche gives you the flexibility to remove it. Deleting a verbatim should be used with caution since it has impacts well beyond that single verbatim.
The way that the theme is removed, is by removing any AI Topics that have been assigned to that particular verbatim.
**The wider impact of this is that ALL verbatim that have been assigned any of the AI topics will also be removed from the theme.**
To delete a verbatim and any other verbatims associated with those AI topics:
Navigate to the Theme Builder
Click on any Theme
Scroll down to Verbatims and click SHOW INFO
Click on white button "Remove from theme". **Take note of warning before clicking.
Manually Editing AI Auto Themes
You can also edit an AI Theme using any of the manual query techniques in Kapiche such as "and", "or", "includes" and "does not include". You may like to exclude Verbatim that uses certain words using the free text option. You can also filter themes by any of the categorical fields in your data. Although bear in mind you can segment you data by these categorical fields on the Workbench and Compare Mode.
To make any of these edits to any AI Theme click on Add Filter.
Merging Themes
Note: There is no way to "undo" a merge. If you want to reverse the process you would need to manually recreate the original themes.
Now, to merge two or more themes together:

Checkboxes will appear next to themes or theme groups depending on which option you chose; select all themes that you want to merge then click the green Merge Themes button

Hit the Confirm button and your new theme will be created and then opened for viewing
Moving Themes between Theme Groups
You can reorganize and redefine Theme Groups by moving existing Themes from a Theme Group to another existing Theme Group or a new one that you have created by dragging and dropping the Theme.
